betas are fine together as long as u dont put two males in the same tank...............so ur sorta right.........they fight over dominance ..........supposedly its trigered by the fins and how attarctive they look so another male will attack and try and ruins the first males fins therefore makin him the dominant male............i dunno i think i read that somewhere back when i had one

so far he gets along well with the smaller fish i have never had any fish b 4 but i have been told that betas do well with fish that are agressive(to protect themselves) but smaller that them..(so they dont feel threatened) and my beta like places to hide...

ya my two tanks got some pretty evil fish in it i'll post some pix when i get home i am at tracis right now........marty you should go to preditoryfish .com they have a huge forum there its pretty cool thats where i have got alot of my ideas from for my tanks i think i;m gonna be going to mill. in a few weeks to get some fish for my 75 its pretty boring right now

hmmmmmmmmmmm never been to that one i dont; think there is a nice one on hwy 100 and one down in the hood too, for being in the hood its pretty cool the owner has 2 gators in there and some HUGE snakes along with a good selection of fish........
if you ever have any questions about your tank fish or sick fish those guys will help you out i have learned alot from those guys
