Galena Rat Raid

Well, just got back.
That was defintely worth the trip down there....WHAT A ****IN BLAST!!! For those of you who don't know, the Rat Raid is one of the biggest gatherings of RAT members (Riders Association of Triumph) in the US.
The best part about it is, I think i did a damn good job this weekend of kinda "bridging" the gap between "normal" riders, and our style of riding. We went on a long *** curvy ride, of course i threw some nice long stand ups in along the way, but kept it a little mellow, did a couple nice long exhaust scrapes in the parking lot, and at the end of the night, during the bands set break, proceeded to whip some dounuts down in the back of the resort, (on the tennis court) then 4th gear rev-limiter burnout till she blew! those damn Diablos have some heavy duty cords in them, tore the back of the Triple ALL TO HELL. I hear Nate did the same!! I was pickin metal outta my back all night...that pretty little clear tail light of mine..... GONE

Corbin's Ride On was there filming on saturday. There doing a special on the Rat Raid and it should be airing in the next couple weeks. Todd from Team triumph, Corners, and a few others were there group that they did all the filming of, so we have to monitor rideontv.com to see when it airs. VMC got alot of exposure down there, PROPS to corners for bringing the LapTop and playing the VMC trailer ALL NIGHT LONG!! The web site should be gettin a ton of fresh hits!! Corners has some pics he'll be postin up soon ..

WHAT AN AWESOME WEEKEND!!!

The VMC go huge reviews!!! People were loving it!! The weekend was a total blast.... the cornering ride Duker talked about was insave!!! seven of us go out in the fast group... Little did I know the new Northern RAT leader was a former racer and instructor... anyway 40mph corners at 90 to 105mph no BS... up hills down hill around blind corners... totaly insane!!! and only one dude crashed on that ride and he was infront of Duker... I got a little bit of schooling from the RAT leader... but with all of his experince...wow...but I kept up..

Heres some pics

Mike

That's damn cool! I'm stoked! That's a good pic of Dukers bike too. When did you get wave rotors? I have more business cards too.
