Let it be known I think it's total that sellers can no longer leave buyers negative feedback on Ebay. I just had some dummy leave me negative feedback for a new DG atv exhaust I sold. The guy got it for $49.99 when it retails for $279.99. The description clearly states "I do not know what this is for" "Maybe you can figure it out" & "Sold as is". Then this ******* leaves me a negative that says "Doesn't fit my 400EX!!!". Well no **** Sherlock... Read the description. Then I find out I can't leave this moron a negative in return.

Aaahhh, that made me feel a little better.

that happened to a friend of mine.
pay pal acct. frozen 30 days.
found out went over his dollar amout in too short a time.wierd
it can happen I guess if you go too high of a dollar amount over your personal pay pal acct for its current setting.thats what happen to my friend of mine 5000 dollars in 3 days, haha pay pal clinched. my friend had to get a loan at the bank to pay everybody back, He was pretty pisted off at pay pal too. lol
depends I guess.
ebay and pay pal have super tight policies.

Paypal has some of my money that i'll never get back now. Under the old system some dude complained, they refunded the $ back to him in record fashion, and i never saw the parts back or heard from dude again.

So i was out 1. the parts 2. the $ 3. the fees i paid as well.

eBay definitely has some policy issues.....the feedback policies suck and they try to run these "specials" that actually cost sellers more to sell on. I haven't had problems with Paypal yet thank goodness.

 

Something doesn't add up b/c Paypal will normally only return the buyers money after a tracking number for the returned goods is provided and shows delivered. And that's only if Paypal rules in their favor after a dispute, and that's all accessible to you on your Paypal account under claims/disputes. They won’t just credit back money without a dispute claim filed…unless the seller doesn’t respond which is then a clear win for the buyer and he can send you an empty box for all he cares. Did you receive a dispute notice and disregard it?

eBay sucks sometimes but I've had REALLY good luck with Paypal! :YEAH

 

Wanna bet? Friend sold some stuff to the tune of $400. Sent it UPS with a tracking # and signature required. Was shown as delivered and signed for. 2 weeks later he got an email from paypal stating they refunded the money for not sending the item to the buyer. Even after emailing them the tracking number and delivery receipt from UPS they still said they had to refund. Never got the items back nor his money. Needless to say they wiped out his checking account right when they were having money problems (both him and his wife lost their jobs).

 

I'll bet on it, Paypal me the wager first and then try and get it back. I'll hold on to this link for the dispute claim

I'm pretty sure they would have to file a claim before they can refund the money. At least when I've had trouble that's how it worked. If the buyer and seller can't come to a mutual agreement once the dispute is opened then it's escalated and an agent reviews it and decides in either the buyer or sellers favor but the money only gets credited when the goods show delivered. I'm not saying it's not possible but Paypal is usually really fair, I use it all the time not just for eBay.

 

Yeah, just like when i throw out my bills when they arrive in the mail.

I sold a new Castle Racing snowmobile suit, gloves, and HJC helmet to a guy a couple years ago while I was moving and I was slow getting it shipped out (about a week, I kept forgetting) I didn't get my computer hooked up for a couple months at the new place but when I did I found out the guy filed a claim the same day I shipped it out he got the suit and then got his $325 back too!!!

I didn't access my account for 2 months so I guess that makes me guilty. No call, no letter, then no suit and finally no money...

Called & emailed the tracking info and never got a penny back.

So if anyone knows Scot Grostefon in Ft.Wayne, Indiania go slash thats ****** tires for me.
