Re: RYAN S. down !!!!!!!!!
Here is an interesting point of view you should all take into consideration. First, I would like to thank those of you who didn't jump on the bandwagon to condemn the driver of the car, like it was stated, the driver of the car WAS NOT AT FAULT! The only fault she had was being in the wrong place at the wrong time! I am glad to hear that Ryan is doing ok but I have no sympathy for him because it was his lack of regard for himself and anybody else that might have been on that road that caused his accident. The driver and her passenger were on their side of the road when THEY were hit. Just before Ryan hit them, he passed another car at a very high rate of speed (yes he was speeding)and when he came around the curve it was he who was on the wrong side of the road, that is why HE hit the side of her car. Not only did he total her car, but he could have killed her because of his lack of respect for driving laws. I understand that there are alot of accidents where a motorcyclist is hit because of inattentive drivers, but this was not the case. I do know the facts to the accident because I was there right after it happened so before you all jump on a bandwagon to condemn people, you should know the whole story. Just because a person is well known doesn't make them innocent. Anybody who questions the accident should go the sheriff's dept. and request a copy of the accident report. It tells all.

OK so your a cop I take it? and thought we would care about you .2$ in this matter? what you just wanted to come on SL and talk ****? well my friend life happens and people get hurt and for you to say you have no sympathy for a guy that lost his leg is just one more reason why people hate cops! I too 'em glad no one else was hurt! it was a bad accident and could have been a lot worse on both parts! how many innocent people a year are hurt or killed because cops don't {in most states} have a "do not pursue law"? and what would you say if a cop got hurt or killed in a high speed pursuit? that they have no business being in? {ever herd of a ******* helicopter} would you be so callus then? what if it was YOU?

Re: RYAN S. down !!!!!!!!!
you also go on to say, "I do know the facts to the accident because I was there right after it happened" wow we need more people like you, thats like you being there when jfk was killed 15 minutes later, and knowing who the gunman was... you are a piece of work mate.. good job.
Re: RYAN S. down !!!!!!!!!
I can tell you right now no matter what "*** hole" or "your bestfriend" cop there is that writes the report NO ONE knows what happened except him and maybee the car. I should know from my accident with a broken T6, C7 3 ribs, crushed lung, and 2 bulged disks in my spine being a 1/2 inch from paralization I know what happened and definatley the guys who were behind me in cars that were comming around the turn and the car that slammed on brakes in front of me EVERYONE lies once the cops show up no one wants to take blame and everyone will blame a biker for every single mistake in the accident. Even if it was his fault and no one saw it and he could get away with the accident EVERYONE blames a biker. The law and cagers (cars) hate motorcycles and always will. SO **** off saying you can go and read the dman police report. Hell my police report didnt even have my crash drawn out on it right and the skid marks were on the road!
Sorry had to vent on that one

Re: RYAN S. down !!!!!!!!!
An accident report does not tell all; it just tells the girls side of the story. Were they able to ask Ryan on scene what happened and for his side of the story? Were there any police officers or cameras present to show exactly what happened? Police reports don't tell what happened, they take people's accounts of what happened and if those people are lying they are flawed. Of course that girl isn't going to admit she crossed the median line and hit him; at that point she probably thought Ryan was going to die and was scared she would be looking at vehicular manslaughter so she figured she could lie and say he hit her to get out of it. If you really are a cop you are very ignorant.
Re: RYAN S. down !!!!!!!!!
i have good hard evidence proving the fact that i was NOT speeding at the time of the accident, because i passed a car on a straight section of road a mile before the scene does NOT mean i was driving inattentively......you obviously don't know me or how i ride a motorcycle.
this is ryan under phatty's name.

Re: RYAN S. down !!!!!!!!!
and yeah, a police report reveals all don't it????? especially when HALF of the story was worried more about LIVING in a helicopter.....your a real gem.
facts
yes, i passed a car before the accident on a straight section of road, but when i came aound that corner of my accident she was in my lane, i have plenty of evidence proving this.

it just so happens that a very good friend of mine disagrees with your statement.. he also happens to be a rock county sheriff.
