cathi ripped drew stone a new one on here, and she doesn't EVEN KNOW HIM.....everybody on here that has made a dvd knows that impact video is FAILING at the distribution game, and when mr. stone announced renegade distribution, his thread was shut down...this in MY eyes, was a retarded move by cathi, i would rather be on a stunt site that allows stunt teams to be able to advertise their own products freely.....advertisements by companies is one thing, but all stunt teams are BROKE, i know i can't afford to buy a banner on this site!!!

oh, and changing a thread title in my own forum was a nice little slap to the face as well......i would like to think i have contributed a little more to this site than to deserve that......i've been a contributer for god only knows how long, put stuntlife logos in/on all our dvd's, rocked stuntlife stickers on my bikes for YEARS, sent NUMEROUS people to this site, blah blah blah

I know right? our traffic is higher now than ever before! For the people that haven’t "jumped ship" they will be in for a pleasant surprise. The site has lots of good things to come.

You need to get your facts straight man. I deleted that thread. ME, Greg I DID... I deleted Drew's thread, and Mike Nicely's and Bud Productions and all those threads. Same day. I work from home along side my fiancé. I have been here since I closed my shop in August. My computer is 2 feet from my fiancé’s computer who monitors StuntLife for me regularly. I often have her do my dirty work so that I don’t have to mess with it. But she never does anything without my approval. I see everything that goes on with her screen and choose to keep my name out of most of it. Guess who my fiancé is? Yes, her name is Cathi here. I remember that day, I thought about it for a minute before I told her to delete Drew's thread.
Here was the deal. THE REAL story... Ready? Can you handle the truth?

We have been having a lot of issues with people advertising here on StuntLife. You all know that. It’s hard to make a buck on the site when people can do it for free. Man, this site is a full time job. So one day Drew Stone posted a thread about his new DVDs being dirt cheap. Well within minutes so did Nicely Films and then so did Bud Productions. How do I let one company slide and the rest not? I don’t. Delete them all was the work. Cathi questioned me about Drews and I said that we have been buddies for years, he will call me up and well get it taken care of if it’s a problem. He will understand. SIDE NOTE...
How many people from this site have called me in the last 5 years and asked for a favor or my help and me not done it? HOW MANY?? NONE. I have ALWAYS had the back of those how have mine. ALWAYS. Ask around.
Back to the story...
So there was no call but it started a freakin war. Unbelievable. After years of dealing with this **** everyone who was once my friend has turned their backs on me. People went crazy. UN-******-BELEIVEABLE... I never got a call. Not one. NOT ONE ****** PHONE CALL.
I have done ALOT in my eyes to help people out in this "sport". ALOT. I have traveled all over the country often sleeping in my truck and eating sandwiches out of the cooler I brought.
- Guess how many teams have paid for a banner to announce their new video?? NONE.
- Guess how many stunt comps have EVER given me a ****** dime? X-Fest in PA back in 03 and SBH in Daytona. They covered my gas. NO PROFIT.
- How man teams support the site regularly? Who knows...
- How many stunt related companies have ever helped me out? Few to none.

99% of all banners you have EVER seen on StuntLife were buddy hookups. Freestyle Ingenuity, Drew Stone, StarBoyz, Patrick Stevens, Kyle Woods... Need I go on??? I got a bunch of free DVDs from Drew a long time ago and I am thankful for that, BUT THE DONT SELL. I have a stack sitting here from lots of groups that gave them to me.

So I have tried and tried to make StuntLife profitable. It was a sinking ship but I never wanted anyone to know that. I lost my business back in 2003. StuntLife Inc... I started StuntLife LLC in 2004 when I was settled in Texas with the help of my folks. Again, it wasn’t making me any money and I tried a new retail store to support the costs of the site and it wasn’t working. Then I was about to lose the WHOLE... I was in dept THOUSANDS to the hosting company (Snakes 1100) and he would no longer help us with the site. We had downtime and no updates, and got hacked twice etc etc...
So in the beginning of 2006... Tim Barnes tried to help me save the site because he thought it could make money. Kyle Woods was on the team too trying to save the sinking ship. It’s not as easy as anyone thinks...
Then I found a company that said they would back the site financially and it would be mine to run. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME RIGHT???? I keep the site but they pay for EVERYTHING?? Can’t be... We talked for months cause I didn’t want to lose my baby, I have fought too hard and too long to lose my baby StuntLife now. To make a long story short, we came to an agreement and sure enough they were telling the truth. They want nothing to do with running the site, it’s OURS. For the 1st time in OVER THREE YEARS THE SITE IS OURS!!! We can ******* swear, people can talk ****... whatever... But now there is a rumor that I sold out, and that corporate America has taken over and StuntLife sucks ***...
YET NO ONE CALLS TO FIND THE TRUTH.

If you have any questions. Think before you talk ****. I’m here. I thought the name up for this site back in Feb 2002. I started it the same month. I added the forums back in Sept 2002 and have been here since. I will continue to make decisions here and what I want is whatever is best for the WHOLE community even if you guys hate me and don’t see it.

That’s the story... take it or leave it but that is how it is.

 

Yeah, I thought that I have done a little more for you guys than that to have you come back and kick me in the ***** with a title like that.
