Re: registration tag

Just a small FYI. They will know that your tag is expired if they call it in even with a current sticker. Just food for thought.

Yep, it's an illegal registration. Since they assume it's a stolen tag off someone else's shiznit. Last i knew it was a $385 ticket.

Same deal Kyle. Illegal registration. Cheaper than a ticket to just switch it over. You know like the plates on your Ranger? Want that title?

And BTW Peewee, selling that tag can get you in some trouble too junior.

I did that a couple of years ago. I had plates for my 79 SR500 on my 86 SRX600 got pulled over by a county for doing a "wheelie". He never noticed the wrong plate was on it and let me go told me to take it easy.

Re: registration tag

when I got my first 6r I wanted to ride so bad I took the plate off of my dads 1970 something honda 750 four and put it on there. I ended up getting a ticket for parking it in the hash marks in a parking lot and the cop never even noticed. he f'in wrote my dads bike model right on the ticket. I dunno if he figured it was a changeover that wasn't through the system yet or what.

Re: registration tag

Do cops even look for plates unless you get a ticket? I rode last year and most of the year before without plates cause my license plate bracket was broken. I was too lazy to order a new one.

Really? I heard you stole that bike while jacked up on black tar heroin, and then you took it on a banzai highway chase all the way to Mexico for some **** warm Tecate beer and to catch the donkey show.

That's what Phatty tells everyone anyhow.
