Re: Saturday, March 5th...

I also met a guy today on a CBR1000RR Repsol Limited Edition. Couldn't tell if it was Josh or not, but I doubt it was cause I don't think he would subject that shrine of greatness to salty roads!

Re: Saturday, March 5th...

Not me, I stayed outside of town all day with the bike.

No licence plate.

And just in case anyone was wondering a 1000RR is faster than a R6.

So much faster it would make you look like an idiot for trying to race one.

It happened to a "friend of mine"

He was riding all by his lonesome when I met him in the country. Thought about turnin' around, but then I thought "nawww, that can't be him with these salty *** roads"!

You are a trooper Joshua!

Is that part of the new recommended Honda break-in procedure?

Re: Saturday, March 5th...

It wasn't to bad outside of town. I was part of the Repsol 1000 break in crew.
We stayed mostly on the highways so the roads were pretty good.

You only went to Lyons because they tore down the Honeycomb hideout. I heard your girl likes Honeycomb when she watches powerpuff girls

Re: Saturday, March 5th...

107 miles yesterday!! Good riding!! I'd a rode it to work today but I don't have enough space under the back seat to put an ice scraper in there.

Yeah that was me Dan. I was gonna turn around but decided to keep going. Had a 100 mile mission to accomplish. Come on spring!!!!!!!!!

Neil has a point for once here. I did a TL1000S once, and the back one is easy, its the front one thats a *****. Gotta unbolt the radiator, and other **** and then jam your hand in an area big enough for a fly. Plus with the R model you gotta take off plastic too, but it aint a 3 hour job. More like an hour and 15 mins. Neil, you can try the Ryan method, and just change the rear one, and see if it will fire up, and maybe the front one will eventually clear out.
