367 fats ones and 6 points to be exact.. My ticket (Criminal wreckless driving with bodly harm) got reduced to just a civil with no harm. Still sucks I got a civil but if it were to stay criminal i could have went to jail for 30 days or had probation for up to two years.. huge fines etc...

Thats the story I heard.

 

The kid that I hit is fine. All he got was some minor minor scratches. You could get more messed up tripping over your own two feet

 

basically yeah the kid ran out in front of me and I hit him... i will type the whole thing out latter don't really have time right now..

Yeah basically what happend was this... Debo and pat were riding in front of me after we left the fireworks downtown janesville. We turned right on the one way street that goes behind the hospital.. While turning pat and debo ran the yellow light and I stopped, then proceded to make a right hand turn on to a one way street. After turning I cracked the throttle a little bit and the wheel came of the ground 3 to 4 inches. I left off imdeiatley for two reasons... one i wasn't trying to bring the wheel off the ground... two debo and pat were directly in front of me and i had caught up to them. While behind them I deicided to get in the left lane so I could talk to them. I put my blinker on and looked over my left shoulder to see if there was a car there. While looking over my should I missed the kid starting to run out in the street with a sparkler in his hand. Debo and pat seen him and started to slow down... by the time I got in the left land and looked foward the little **** was skipping across the street like he had a corn cob stuck up his ***.. anyway I could not swerver left because of the curb nor could I go to the right because I was unsure where debo and pat where and there was a little girl making her way into the street. So i hit the brakes and the kid jumped right before i struct him. When he jumped his entire body was passed my bike and I caught his leg under neith my headlight. Now I don't know how but his leg ripped and bent my left plastic on my bike and caused me to go down and eat the pavement. After I fell off my bike I was already standing before the bike finished sliding. First thing I did was go turn the key off my bike and then see how the 15 year old *** munch was... He was fine with very very very minor scrapes and a few brusies. I on the other hand had about a three inch cut all the way to the bone on my elbow and road rash on my legs... again... haha. So the cops showed up and the mom told the cop that I was doing a wheelie down the entire street and was doing one while i hit her kid. BULLSHIT ... This is the part where I hate cops /rant on.. So the cop comes up to me asks me my side of the story and I tell him everything but the wheel coming off the ground.. blah blah blah Then he says that the mom said i was doing a wheelie down the entire street etc.. etc.. So I explain to him that the kid would be more messed up along with my bike and myself. I told the cop the wheel came off the ground a few inches when i cracked the throttle.. BIG ****ING mistake becuase when I look at the police report I seen that he had put down that I admitted to doing a wheelie down the entire block... So becuase of that I got a ticket for CRIMINAL wreckless driving with bodly harm.... So that pretty much sums it up...

The moral off the story and something that I learned. DON'T EVER EVER talk to the cops with an attorney in fact you don't have to tell the a god dammm thing... If only I would have known that ****..

 

So how much did you or your insurance company pay the kid from the lawsuit?

 

I forgot that part.... The kid got a ticket for running into on comming traffic.. So there was no lawsuit.

 

I don't admit to anything when questioned. I learned that lesson a few years back and a few tickets ago. Prove it and I might admit to it.

 

Gotta exercise the old right to remain silent.
