I'm moving for pretty much the same reasons as you! ...on top of everything i just need a change...and if I'm gonna do it, it needs to be now since I'm young, and don't really have anything here! 
I'm going to Sarasota for a few months, prob until after bike week to stay with my g-parents. While I'm there it will give me a chance to live rent free and all the good stuff, so Im gonna waitress for quick cash, look around to determine where I really want to live, and look for a real job.

I am going out on the 18th and staying with a friend until the 1st of November. Hopefully in the 2 weeks I am out there I can atleast find an apartment and hopefully find a technology job, but the apartment is my priority. After that I am going to come back to lovely Vermont and pack up and take off.
When r u leaving? You must be bringing your bike with you down to FL.
Oh yeah, what r u doing up a 7:30 in the morning? Late night?

Ha Ha, yes, but, I am out at 3:00..so in the long run, (very long run...) it's worth it! Plus sometimes I have no other choice b/c I have so much to get done the rest of the day!
I'm a disability claims examiner. (I bet you could guess....I process disability claims...) ha ha.

Right now I do nothing, I am just getting ready for my move. When I get out there I will be working on computers, have not decided what particular area. I good with hardware, software, networks, I guess I will go with whichever field is the most promising.

Ha, I can match your 6:30 post, but it will not be an early morning, more of a late night.
I am not really looking forward to the job search either, but I don't anticipate much of a problem. I have been doing some online searches over the past 6 months and there seam to be plenty of opportunities. I am going to have to work on my resume and cover letter this week.
You said you are going to waitress until you get settled. What type of profession are you looking to enter? degree?

Ha Ha, yeah, it sucks getting up so early. I used to get up at 4am, go to the gym, and be here by 7am. Yeah, that sucked. I stopped because my body hated it and I ended up getting sick.
