Events, Competitions, Friendly Bets...

I'd like to see some events posted up of upcoming stunt shows for next year that are within range (10 hrs as binder put it) of Indy, Terre Haute, Lafayette, etc. We (at least Ryan and I)will probably do some traveling to paid contests. Post up some plans, or ideas.

as soon as we see some scheduling, we'll make plans. but there is no reason we cant do something ourselfs. i know that binder has organized one in t.h. at a track day. we did one here for a shop that t to the v showwed up at. we could pull our resources and come up with something. wether it's organized with insurance. or we just each put $20 in the pot and do it gangsta style. i'm game for whatever. it sounds like there are atleast 20 stunters that would be interested in a couple hour radious. not to mention all the other people that'll be down. lets pull something together.

Billy and I have tenative plans to go down to Florida sometime in January... Anyone is welcome, you'll have to find a spot to stay (may have space, dunno yet), but as always, the more the merrier There are few roads down there that need our attention.

OK, so bike week was a little lame for me last year. Some took Ryan's mint '02 1000, and we saw little in the female dept. and half the group was sick. Despite all of that, I'd like to go again... The first year was a blast...full D & D system on the '97 and a rev limiter always gets the crowd(along with MAJOR hang-time stoppies). People waited for us to cruise back by. Last year there were cops both directions, and everyone was quiet( I tried provoking them, honest!) My latest thoughts were to hit half of bike week, and half of spring break. I guess if we go to bike week and it's lame, starboyz and co. put on a rock'n show at volusia co. fairgrounds. $10 bucks to ride, and maybe if Yoda(Binder, lol) can teach me, I might be able to ride indoors like Chauncey...yeah, right...

Hey, I've got some info on the Mid-Ohio motorcycle events... The big show! This past summer Chet got his hands on a few tickets to ride the track(I got one of those). What a blast! On the first lap we just putted around, but I thought it was fun anyway-but the second lap we hauled it . Awesome! Starboyz were there, and about every major factory rider was available for autographs. Funny thing is we barely made it. Rolled out of Lafayette about 6p.m. the night before with Chet, Tony, and the underage without permit/helmet GRANT, with 3 other trucks and trailers. Now those clowns decide to stop at a bar in Ohio...Hmmm, last time I checked, Ohio suck! So as a barfight erupted, the cops came- only to bag on those 3 guys and not tend to the barfight After a few more hours and then bailing Grant out, we made it there at morning light. That would not be the only bad event however... Later that night on the way home, Chet fell asleep in his truck with his R6 in the back, and it totalled both when he hit the power pole

Hehe I'll do that one... We'll see who can wheelie the furthest, negotiate turns and park on the bar in a handicap zone right next to the courthouse...

I don't know the exact dates for spring break, but Purdue's doesn't usually correspond with bike week, it sucks!
