Making the switch?

Hi, my name is Jon Bryan. I live on the east side of Indy. I've been riding motocross all my life, and after a recent injury(2 broken arms) I feel it would be smart to move onto bigger and better things. I'm 100% back now, and ready to ride. I love FMX, and have become pretty good at it. I'm considering a brand new YZF600R, I saw one up at indy cycle and it almost made me drool. Good for stunts? Good beginner bike? if im going to ride of course im going to stunt thats just how I am. Anyone local in indy that wants to show me the ropes? I'm working with about 8 grand. Thanks for the advice

it really all ranges on how bling bling you wanna get, shop around see what you like best, that's my best advice.... check out knee draggers.com or parts411, usually have good deals on there and even egay, which i'm not a big fan of....

Re: Making the switch?

ya, you don't want a yzf.

you are wanting to get into bigger and better things, but you want to get into stunting? there i no money in stunting and you'll be hurt more often. if you're good at FMX you can probably make a career out of it, not the case for stunting.

just a little FYI for ya....don't get caught up in the hype, there is definately no money or glory in being a stuntrider. we just do it cause it's fun (when you aren't hurt)
