Hey all just checking to see if there is anyone else out there from here. Man the way this weather has been I am getting worried my 2004 gixxer 750 won't get here in time.

 

I'm a former edmontonian. I live in Ontario now though. I visit family in the west still though. Plan on riding there this summer. I like the 110 speedlimits but fear the photo radar .

Actually us Oiler fans are few and far inbetween up here. It's usually everones second favorite team. People here like eastern teams like the Wings and the Laughs...er Leafs. Definately up for some beers. Queens or Strausers?

How long you been riding Nokturnal?

 

Four years but none of it stunting.........to be honest I am just starting to learn about it. Most of the time I rip solo cause none of my friends ride.

 

Going into my second year now. Still trying to master wheelies. I'm too scared of dropping a new bike so I never get it up high enough and if I do, I bring it down right away. We should hook up when I hit Edmonton this summer. I need someone to show me around Whyte Ave

 

Ya we could do that for sure. I am trying to convince a buddy to buy a bike but like you I dont wanna ruin my new one. I mean hell I don't even have it yet hahaha. I just sold my SV650S (ya I know a girls bike) and bought my gixxer cause I loved riding the bike of this guy I knew who had a older one. But ya me too about wheelies still getting used to them although I am sure on my gixxer it will be alot easier to get it up then on the SV. I wanna buy a XR50 after seeing this site though.........

 

ROFL..... "Girls Bike".... Yeah... I have one too... Mine is up on the block now. mine is an 2001. I also bought a GXXER 750 2002. The SV is a Sherman Tank when it comes to wheelie's. (I know there is a lot of peeps rocken em, but they got skillz...) I also have an XR. They are PIMP.. I have found that they have helped me in my learning curve for sure. All I got to do is remind myself that I have 140 hp not 3 hp when on the GXXR
