So where is everyone ??????????

What's everyone doing all winter to keep sane ? Any new projects ? Any shows coming for 2008 ? Anyone roadtrippin it down to shows ??

 

snowboarding & blaizin up . can't think of much else to do cuz nothing needs to be fixed on the bikes so i stare at them sometimes wishing i could go ride. winter sucks

 

I dont snowboard because I'd rather save my injuries for the lots

Try some online shopping.....you can make it Christmas at your house everyday with the few clicks of a button....its more addicting than heroin...

I just went out to ride my 50...and for the first time I was rocking wheelies on the streeets...I got a honk from a Bus driver haha but Im pretty sure I have frost bite... not even joking... the pain in my hands is more intense then the time I smashed m head on the pavement...


Glad to know im not the only one going out to the garage to stare at the bikes

 

don't get me started on online shopping. I got shoes, stunt vids, and sweet parts for my street bike on the way already. New cage and round bar for stunt bike got here last week too and are already on the bike just waiting

Ha, i went fiddy riding with a buddy last night, we hit the streets while the sun was up and it was ok, then the sun went down an hour into the ride and holy **** did it get cold fast. roads were wet, sun goes down, black ice + street tires on 50's = real weak bails. I was on a 3 block hc wheelie and just leaned to go around a corner and it slid out and i ate **** :D

 

When you gonna get me spinner hubcaps for my steelies? I need 14" ones fyi...

 

Road Trippin twice a week to London to ride indoors for now....

Indoor track ? Are 50's welcome ? Or is it an indoor mx track for the big bikes only

 

50's are welcome, its an indoor MX track and most days then send you out in groups with your own bike class.... unless the place is dead and then its usuallu the two or three ppl there sharing the track regardless of bike size.

I've riddin a 50 quad there fun as ****!

Na im just asking because most places dont like people doing wheelies ....and I dont care to ride my 50 on the track... I just want an indoor place to stunt =)

 

Wouldn't be the best place to stunt... IMO

But i've looked into a local area that isn't using one of there pads because of a freezing issue... so its permenant concrete for the time being... I spoke to the Manager and she is going to let me know if we can rent it and ride in there...

Chances are slim due to insurance reasons but atleast they are entertaining the offer.

What these people dont realize.....and what they need to understand.... is we're not going to sue them if we get hurt !!!!!!!! Like when we're trying to get permission for spots in the summmer....... if the owners could understand half the streetbikes in the lot aren't legal.. no insruance no plates no nothing....so if we get hurt... the cops are the last people that are going to be contacted..... drives me crazy.

I completely understand... I tried to do a MX show in our company parking lot for Sick Kids, it was a GO until legal got involved and it was quickly quashed... reason given was Insurance does not cover such events...

I don't think that spots are worried about the riders, I think they are more worried about spectators and property damages... but Im not certian.

That would be awesome..... I tried with my property up north but the by-laws prevent that.... also not good for resale lol...

Arena in Durham I was checking into bailed on us.... liability issue, they said that no matter what we sign, theres always a loop hole...

So.......... back to the drawing board....
