Homemade Title

I'm about to buy a bike with a Homemade title.
Will I have problems getting it legit for the road?
What about getting insurance without a factory V.I.N.
Is it too much trouble?

Re: Homemade Title

I know a guy that had a home built title here in Ontario. He brought the bike here from Italy when he moved here.

You need to claim you pretty much made a mutant from parts and have receipts to you show you bought ****.

If it's an existing home built title, I think your gravy. I wouldn't ask here though, call the ministry and call the insurance company.

Re: Homemade Title

Qball tried a short time ago with all the spares he collected over the years......I think the ministry stopped doing it as of Jan 06 or something.....U'd have to pm or something to find out the details.

Re: Homemade Title

My insurance co. says they won't touch it, they said it falls under "High Risk". I aint gonna bother.
