what do you do to pass the winter months?
Re: what do you do to pass the winter months?
Work on the bikes and lots of overtime to buy nice things for them..........I have a GSXR 6, 954, and my 636 all taken completely apart for powder coating.
MOD list for my bike:
Powder coat frame, sub, swingarm, and rims
Scottz damper
New forks and tripples...........whooooo hooo staright front end
Woodcraft clip-ons
Woodcraft rearsets
GSXR radial front master with Pazzo lever
Vortex gas cap
New chain + sprockets
New cage
Shortened my FI bar about 2"
collecting as many fairings as I can
and a friend of mine is starting to airbrush and is going to do some art work on my tank and front fender......
The only thing winter is good for is showing the bike some love it would never get otherwise.......And letting the body heal.

Nice list!
I have some plans of my own, but nothing that serious. My engine is staying in the frame!
Black/red paint job (done by me)
Bondo'd up smooth tank dent
V&H shorty exhaust
dual caliper HB (still shopping for a master cyl. set-up)
12 bar (I'll have a customer of mine weld it up for nothing)
Powder coat that rusty rear steel sprocket!!!
Steel lines all around

snowboard!!!! Fight training!!!! anything to keep your heart pounding. if u can ride in the snow, DO IT.
One of my team mates is drunk all winter. I mean all winter. He goes to the bar before work then has a 6 pack at 7 am before he goes to bed and thats all he does.

Booze will pass the time yes. BUT, it's probably better spent at the gym!!! Getting in better shape will improve your riding. Just think of how you feel after a day of hard riding.
A week in Mexico wouldn't hurt either. I'm thinking of going again in February.
:YEAH
