Who is rockin HB's?

Just wondering? Im building my setup now, not that I need it but Id feel more comfortable pushing SS and Highchairs higher and slower with the added security.

I just dont know if its worth modding my stock rear MC or waiting a week to buy the Fullthrottle MC? Im using a 04 GSXR radial master and it feels nice and pretty easy to get to.

Anyways if you got one list your setup

Re: Who is rockin HB's?

All 3 of us up here are rockin the FT setup..Have never tried any other option..Its expensive but I have no complaints..It works everytime and was real simple to install. Even the bleeding was pretty easy. Plus Bill is top notch and I have no problem supporting someone like that in this industry..

Cheers

Re: Who is rockin HB's?

So your talking the whole set up with his front master cylinder and an ASV lever? Is your line braided form the rear caliper to the FT rear master, or did you leave the stock line?

I think Id like an ASV but their so damn expensive!

Re: Who is rockin HB's?

Q has MH setup....Greg has a dual caliper setup.....and we ordered up a FT setup on sick1's Gix.
We're all going to switch and/or get FT set up's.....Bill by far is one of the easiest people to deal with and his service is so damn quick! Product itself the hanbrake system and all his custom triples and so forth are the best we've ever seen!!!! :YEAH :YEAH :YEAH

Re: Who is rockin HB's?

We all bought the entire setup, but I did leave the stock line from the FT rear master to caliper. But stainless line to handlebar. Yes the ASV foldable shorty lever is the way to go...it cost me $69US extra for the lever but that damn thing seems to be unbreakable and gives you great adjustments when trying to line up both levers for ease of use..
So said and done that entire FT setup cost me almost $400US..Which aint even close to being cheap..I have read of lots of other riders on here who
have found a much cheaper workable solution. Which I might of looked at, but I was at StuntFest Ohio and Bill had a booth there and offered to install it on the spot. So I said ***** it and got it done....strange but after I got that, its when I seemed to step the crashing up a few notches..lol..

Cheers

Re: Who is rockin HB's?

carbs are running okay, really should get some fuel injection though.. Yea ive only been ridding with the handbrake for a few days now and its really easy to use.. I think im going to put a cage back on and try some hc o's... Ive never seen or heard anyone learn them with full fairings so it should make for some good film anyway...

Re: Who is rockin HB's?

Ha, you guys got lots of jokes...I luv it...Maybe I should take Insains lead and just show up to the spot, rock a few power wheelies and then complain about multiple injuries for the rest of the day. I guess my subframe would be fine then....and Reg I am suprised you have time to reply to this thread. Shouldnt you be busy working on your DVD ??
I told youguys b4 when I have a full sponsorship from BK, I will be able to buy all the subframes I need..

Re: Who is rockin HB's?

for my HB, I welded a piece of aluminum where the fitting goes, threaded it for a banjo bolt, along with a braided line and a gsxr brake lever, works good and I can lock the rear tire, cost me about 60$ total.

Re: Who is rockin HB's?

Back to the original post....I think johnnyP was serious...

I think JB and Fish had the 2 caliper setup on their old bikes.....now run FT setups on the new ones....they might be able to offer alot of insight.
