Help Needed
OK, dont want to sound like an idiot here and honestly am not scared to admit my problem.
Here it is, I can power wheelie my bike no prob in 1st, 2nd and 3rd (due to gearing), but am having a hard time with clutching it up!
I have tried to clutch it, but my question is this!
Ok I am in second at say 7 rpm's, pull in the clutch to reach the contact point, then I rev it and pop it and it jumps up on me but nothing dramatically.
What I would like to know is do I need too blip the throttle first as in down gearing to match the rpm's when down gearing?
As well is it WOT and then let out clutch?
Or bring in the clutch and then let go as I am giving it more gas?
Ok call me a newbie, dont care. But as I said aint scared too ask despite the ribbing that will follow!
Thanks and serious posts only!

Re: Help Needed
when u try to clutch it up make sure u follow through with the throttle....if you are just starting to learn i would recomend that u give a bike a rev or 2 before you let out the clutch just so u are sure of the timing... as u let out the clutch continue to increase the amount of throttle input...u will feel the clutch slip then grab as the bike comes up....if you have a stock clutch and gearing they will usually come up with a bunch of slip...so dont be afraid to gas it...if it is not coming up with the clutch u are not using enough gas...just keep rolling on the gas more and more till you got it all the way up...
hope this helps..kinda hard to explain

1st gear........revlimiter....pop the clutch out....and make sure Gynxxx or I has the video camera on ya!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Help Needed
The way I learned was stay on the throttle accelerating, and then slip the clutch in and out quickly. The faster you do it, the less the bike will come up. The longer you hold it in, the more time the revs will have to get higher up.
Have one of the boys show you in person, its easier than explaining it. I used to love throttle wheelies, but once you learn the clutch, you'll never go back.

except yours INSAIN ^^^^^^ should I have a passenger on the back too, will that help?? Ha ha ha (
LOOPING)I can get the tire up, but I guess I am not following thru on the throttle enough. I will just have to keep trying.
Re: Help Needed
practice makes perfect so get out on an empty road (country) and just keep doing it. thats how I learned and I wouldn't know if showing would help any because clutching is alot differnt from power wheelies.
