Wheelie in trouble

Hey whats up guys and gals from the SW. Im still new at the stunts and I noticed that some of you ride ZX6Rs. How are you pulling your wheelies? I read the how to's but im either not doing it right or something. What RPMs are you using ? Im closing the throttle at about 6k and hitting it but it wont walk up. Use higher RPMs or try to clutch it? Thanks

I ride a ZX6R and have had problems as well. I solved this problem by dropping 1 in the front and adding 2 in the back. That made a world of difference in the 6R.. When I throttle up, I hit 5000 then roll off the throttle untill the bike dips, then roll on it when it is at 4500 and she comes right up. With the clutch I just roll out at about 25 in first, pull in the clutch till it releases and let the rpm's hit 6000 and off I go.... I'm also 210lbs and 6' so I go about it a lil different than others but, what ever works right. With a ZX6R its all about the rpm's man. Please forgive my run on sentences....

Went great, the front jumped right up. I think I was waiting too long to let off then hit it and was missing the torque. Thanks alot. I just have to work on my balance point now so I can ride them longer. Not a master yet. Thank you !

I drove a buddy of mine 6R a while back. I noticed in 3rd you have to be around 10 or 10,500 RPM for it to be nice and smooth. A little bounce and some throtte and off you go.
