We only carry the extended ones, because honestly, the regular length sliders don't really protect much but the frame itself. Your plastics, clips ons, mirrors, and such are subject to destruction if you run the normal length sliders. I would definately run the extended ones if I had a clean, minty, fresh new bike. Besides, when you are riding down the highway and your legs start to cramp up or something, you can just pick them up and rest them on the sliders, lol, its actually quite comfortable.

The total length of the slider is 5 and 1/2 inches from the frame of the bike. The metal piece is 4 inches and the delron tip is 1 and 1/2. And yes we do have them for an 02 F4i.
