ive never signed a non-compete...
i have a few non-disclosures though...

FACT:
Non compete contracts are very rarely pursued in court as the logistics of them are very hard to win over in court. you can not simply have a person sign a contract stating that they will no longer be a stuntrider.. expecially if said person can prove to the court that whatever subject being pursued is their professional career and direct source of income. then the contract becomes null and void. ive already lookin into it. nevada and california are different than most states.. those just dont fly here...
its like if the mustang ranch hires a prostitute make her sign some non competes then she quits in X amount of time.. they cant legal stop her from continuing a prosperous career in the sexual services! all the ho has to do is prove to the court that prostitution is her way of life. that is.. even if the business owner wants to pursue the case..
while i know pauly can be a very ruthless business guy.. IE: sell his own mom for a buck.. wait til LVX snuff comes out.. but would he have the time money and effort to try and drag jojo to court over this? its not like its one time court deal.. its multiple sessions and would end up costing him a lot more money then its probably worth in the end. any lawyer would tell him that he is not going to win in the end anyways...
jojos not riding has nothing to do with contracts... it has everything to do with... the fact that she doesnt want to anymore. its always been paulys thing not hers.. she was like 15 when she first started hanging out at the bikes nights.. she just liked pauly and what he liked she liked... thats life.

yeah kane is 100% correct im in the middle of a non competing suit right now.....differant states have differant clause's but in ca its hard to make a non competing contract hold up in court.

Im new to this site but not new to rideing, in fact I have been riding for going on thirteen years and stunting for about six. So here's my two cents on all of this. (Olny my personal opinion not meant to flame anyone involved) First off like many people when LVX first became popular I had a massive ammount of respect for them, They were the first group in my opinion to actually make stunt rideing main stream ( A few other groups made videos before LVX hit the scene but the marketing of such videos was not quite up to par with the marketing skills of Pauly and his buisness team), How ever as time passed and more video's came out from LVX I just wasnt as impressed with them as I had been with the first one. It seemed that all the video's were pretty much the same IE: there werent any new stunts or new people doing anything new just new scenery.
Now onto the next subject
As far as Pauly go's I have met him a couple of time's and each time I just got a bad impression from him. He seemed to be blinded by the fame that has come with his video's. Now Im not saying that he is an A**hole Im just saying my personal oppinion of him it not the highest. I think pauly is an excelent buisness man and a good rider, as well he has skills that many have worked years to attain and are still not at his level of skill. Regardless if he decides to strive to be the best still or just sit back and continue performing the stunts he is comfortable with has no bearing on the fact that the man has skills.
As far as JoJo go's
I have also met her a few times and each time I got a pretty decent impression, she to seemed to be blinded by fame but not nearly as bad as my impression of pauly. Her skills on a bike are second to none in my oppinion. Many people have said that pauly made her and with out pauly she is nothing, Im sorry but I have to disagree, Pauly brought her to fame and taught her how to ride but it was her drive and determination that allowed her to attain the skill level that she was at when she left the sport. Had she not truely wanted to learn and wanted to be the " Best female Stunter" no ammount of help from pauly or any one else for that matter would have done a damn bit of good. You can teach any one anything but if they dont want to learn it then your time has been wasted. So yes Pauly brought her into the lime light but it was her determination to learn theese stunts that actually made her famous. (along with her sex appeal).

So for any of us to say one way or another that either of them treated the other bad or used the other or any other inflamatory statement is just obsurd and unfounded. Personally I dont care if JoJo never rides again its her choice not mine, Granted I would not turn her away if she wanted to ride with me or my group and I would be happy to see her get back on a bike at some point in the future. Its her choice and either way she should be supported by those people who are truely fans of her.
