Does anyone know where i can find a frame for a 2004 cbr. i Recently had a little accident and it did severe damage to my frame. I am looking for a straight frame clean or salvage title. I have found a few but they have no title.

 

but the untitled one dude. you already have a title! seriously. just register it with your current VIN. it will be fine

 

you can by them new from a dealership, i know the 929's are like 1500

then either have it tagged with your vin number, or have a custom built title after inspection.

 

How would i do that? that means the vin number are not going to match. i dont really want to deal with any hassles. Anyone know of any salvage yarsds? or if anyone has one for sale with a title let me know. How much do u guys think a new frame would cost? thanks for your help

i am curious to know also how you could have a diff frame tagged with your vin since they wouldnt match... what about if a frame had the vin #'s gone?

 

That just sound fishy i would give that second thought, no vin most likely means stolen. Bump for a 04 cbr 600rr frame .....anyone

 

what you have to do is take it to your dealer and do a trade, they get you a blank frame then you have your #'s stamped into the frame, then they collect the old frame so that there isn't two frames w/ the same # runnin around, easy but very expensive check ebay for a blank

 

You can probably stamp that **** yourself if you get a letter/number punch set. Oh yeah and if you're not afraid of being a little shady

you dont even need to stamp it, no one inspects the damn frame, just use the new frame on your bike and take your current title to the DMV and register it. just make sure you get a reciept for the new frame and keep it with your registration
