Im trying man and that **** is running like a big fat turd

I cleaned the carbs out and adjusted them, changed the coil packs and wires, and its still running like ****. I think I have some sort of vacuum leak or air leak somewhere. Im gonna sync the carbs today and check the cam chain tensioner and see if that helps. THis is killin me already. I think I may need a new motor lol. I rode a F4i and a 636 yesterday and loved em

check the air filter, if its all nasty, it wont run very good. if everything else checks out, the valves may need to be adjusted if the bike has been hammered since day 1.

ive beat that bike like a straight champ since day one and its taken it. Its finally showing signs of weakness. I think it needs some CPR to get that bastard running like it used to. That or I need to find me a motor. You know of any lol

I'm 99% sure its the carbs or the valves.

 

damn, on Sunday I saw a guy loop out HARD on a gixx6, I've never seen anybody crash that hard, his bike was screwed, but he walked away like a champ. kinda ruins your motovation to kill it that day. I'm sure you guys are used to that.

 

not the carbs unless there not synced. We'll find that out today. We just went through them and they were fine.

Now the valves could be it. Not sure on that yet but will know more by tomorrow. This is kicking my *** already

 

checking the valves is gonna take a while, and you might need a new gasket. I wish I had the clearances, but I'd have to call and find out. If you cant, lemme know the year,and I'll find out.
