Re: ? for you e-dub..

heres some pics of the bar..........hope it helps

The bar is welded to the subframe. You are gonna have to brace the hell out of it cause they bend real easy. The good part is that its metal so you can weld straight to the subframe. The subframe is pretty low on these bikes so you have to kind of angle the bar up otherwise it will be too low. I used all kinds of braces on the inside between each side of the subframe. Just cut some scrap metal and weld it in between to keep it from flexing. Now the bar is solid as a rock. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

heres one pic. The damn camera died so I gotta charge it and then ill post some more.

Re: ? for you e-dub..

it looks like the top of the bar follows the line of the seat, or is it higher? and about how far back is the bar from the seat 3-4 inches? def shorter than the stock tail. .. the bolts in the bar... did you just tighen the bar down alittle then scrape it for the angle then weld? did you cut the subframe off where it used to mount the bracket for the tailight and fairing stay? ... i know, lots of questions, but i wanna build one right the first time. thanks
