It's Mike..... Hope you're not banged up so we can ride again. Just imagine what a world of hurt you'd be in without that gear! SO glad you were wearing it. Let us know if you got that cage off! lol

Sup all. (This is Loooooong!)
Started a new job Monday and have been busy and just tired. Still a bit sore from a fall on Sunday but I guess you figured that one out by now.
Really didn't think about it till later when I got home. The thing I forgot, and Steve can verify this, is that the cage mount point at the right front engine bolt was already cracked where the washer is welded to the pipe. Of course if it hadn't been cracked already it would have held up better but it was already cracked from a fall last weekend at the show and the cage kept the bike from having any damage at all last weekend. So...the Racing905 cage really did do it's job. The cage folded upward from the impact and it STILL kept the bike in perfect working order. The case isn't even scratched and the only damage from the cage breaking was the lower fairing is cracked and chipped some paint under the part where the cage hit the bodywork. No biggie.
I have a little rash on both knees, right one is worse and just slightly swollen, still able to walk and everything fine, been working for 2 days and nobody there can tell I am hurtin. Little rash on my right forearm. Had my jacket one but the impact still gave me a little. Have had a headache almost ever since the wreck, could be a mild concusion and there is a nice deep ground down spot on the helmet, but all in all, I am fine.
Bike just needs a new cage, or at least the right side since I have a spare left side already. The fairing is cracked down on the lower, the rear rim has a decent dent in it, but it holds air and at highway speeds heading home I didn't feel anything different. Windscreen is cracked and needs to be replaced and I have one of those already. The bar hit a little hard on one corner and the plate that scrapes the ground is slightly bent, but that doesn't effect anything at all. Really minimal damage for a get-off that felt pretty bad at the time.
Definetly the hardest fall I have taken while practicing. Not sure how it happened exactly but I have been only working on balancing and slowing 1st gear down. The bike was pretty high and felt smooth, I couldn't see over the nose had to be close to the bar and it was floating nice when it dipped to the right and then took off. Not sure how or why. Next thing I know I am struggling cause I got the wind knocked out of me and couldn't breathe. No big deal, I have had that happen before, but each time it still feels like it's taking forever for that first breathe to come back to you.
Oh, and I would never give up my 905 cage!
They do right by us like nobody else would!
Talked to Aaron today and said he doesn't see why I wouldn't have my replacment cage by the weekend. :YEAH
Peace!

Your bar hit the ground on the left side throwing you off. The pavement dips that way only making it worse. Hope the jobs going well man, my girlfriend and i dig the dvd---thanks. I show off my wounds at work man, co workers think I'm ****in crazy. When you got time please forward that pic, it's the only thing i have to show for the hard work this summer, later ant.

I don't know....that avatar is pretty decent too, that wasn't something you did with ease at the beginning of the summer.
Here is the pics you are asking about by the way.
