Unhappy Stuntwars / Bucs Playoff game

Man talk about bad timing. I wish Todd would of picked a date after the SuperBowl. Now I am torn. It also makes me wonder about Stuntwars attendence seeing how most people will be home watching the game.

I see your position

Game doesnt start till 3:00pm, so a person COULD leave the show at around 2:30, and be home in time to crack open a beer and turn on the game..

Question is, is half a day of stunting and driving worth the $15 admission fee?

Either way, I'll be there with my portable TV.

Record the ******* game and go to the show.

Sheesh...I figured you could even figure that out.

Yeah but you know your going to hear the score on the radio or through people and ****. Then whats the point in watching it taped if you know the end results.

In the way of a "show", if I intented to go and watch...it was good. Alot of awesome riders...the freestyle event and sickest trick were great and the team event was awesome...the 1096 performance was high energy and had me trying not to miss anything...nearly impossible with guys switching bike mid-trick and stuff. Hated seeing Kyle go down, I am still waiting to hear something about how he is doing.

Now since I wanted to participate, I can say I was at least disappointed, and I had more than a couple people say the same thing to me. I mean what is the sence of entering an event I have zero chance of even looking like I know what I am doing, let alone place in. For the pros this was a great event to enter, and for the crownd it was great to watch, but I saw people doing stunts that they looked like they shouldn't have been even attempting since they were far from smooth. I think a number of people wanted to enter and perform but didn't bother under those conditions.

There was enough "dead time" and stuff to have had a couple amatuer events. There doesn't need to be an amatuer sickest trick or team event but things like longest stoppie or freestyle may have been able to have an amatuer class.

I know, then how do you decide if someone is a pro or an amatuer?

Just thinking out loud.
That's my take.

P.S.
....when is someone going to get evicted from an event for doing burnouts, wheelies, and bullshit like that in the pits and down the side road???
An example needs to be set with one of these people that this is NOT acceptable. Sure they tell you on the PA system that your not allowed to do it, but that doesn't mean **** to the people doing it, and they can't hear the PA over the "cool" burnout they are doing anyway.

That **** puts me or MY FAMILY in danger and that is why we are ON THE ******* TRACK in the first place!

I am not talking about stuff on the fiftys and ****. I am talking about people like the ******* trying, and I emphasize trying, to wheelie on the side road with a girl on the back, both wearing no helmets, or people doing burnouts or 12s in areas where there ARE cars and people walking around. The day WILL COME that someone WILL lose control, and I hope nobody but the rider is seriously hurt when that day comes cause I can tell you that if that person's uncontrolled bike hits my wife's minivan as she is pulling in or leaving, especially with my 9 month old son inside....they are going to have one pissed off mother ****** on their hands.

anthony i totally agree.... the show was a lil bit of a disappointment but it was what we all went to see.... as for the people on the side track... i TOTALLY agree.. more than once somebody almost hit me when i was walkin.... when i was riding on the lil 50 goin from one spot to another.... they actually TRIED to run me over.. I couldn't believe it... There were lil kids walkin in the road and everything and they just keep doin stuff.... it was completely ridiculous..... glad to see nobody got hurt though... was very aggrivating though....
