I much rather go to a stunt spot and watch and ride than break bottles of ketchup and get arrested for fun... Just my 2 cents...

I can say that we really didn't end up in any real situations where there was property damage on our part. Ok, there is a small hole in a stairway wall that might not be there if not for us, but besides that and shooting off some fireworks, we only witnessed the events listed in this thread.
Some things I saw were funny, some of was down right stupid, but none of it was anything I needed to experience to have a great time last weekend.
Let's just say some people definetely went overboard. Better them than me.
The other thing this makes me think is that Lakeland PD may have simply had it this weekend. Hooter's hotel wouldn't allow us to stay there because of the stuff that happened last year. Next year will other hotels join the list of places you can't stay?
Will LPD put pressure on Roy, the owner of the track, to not hold another event like this in the future because of the things that happened?
Maybe if the LPD and a number of hotels, a restaurant or 2 all have something to say about it, there may not be a Stuntwars '06, or at least not in Lakeland.
Didn't see you there, wish I had got to meet you and a few others I still haven't met.
Later.
Re: Stuntwars recap from the GSE point of view.
I didnt meet too many new peeps aside form the ones i already knew. i was too busy being a tourist and taking video and pictures
But in all seriousness I believe you are right about lakeland not wanting Stuntwars back there. Hopefully it doesnt happen. I mean does the income for the businesses outweigh the repair costs once its all said and done? i dont know...
On another note, i thought the Hooters Inn was closed due to damages from the hurricane season?
