How Do You Turn While In A Wheelie??

YEAH I KNOW, I KNOW, I SUCK.
HERE IS MY PROBLEM...... I CAN WHEELIE BUT I CAN NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME, TURN THE THING WHILE IT'S IN THE AIR. I WATCH THE FTP VIDEOS LIKE EVERYDAY AND IT MAKES ME SICK HOW THEY CAN JUST CRUZZ ALONG AND CHANGE LANES AND DO WHAT EVER THEY WANT ON ONE WHEELE. I GUESS I JUST WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE TO PUT WEIGHT ON ONE SIDE??? TURN THE HANDLE BARS A CERTIN WAY IN ORDER TO GO TURN A CERTIN WAY??? **** MAN I JUST DON'T KNOW, AND I FEEL LIKE A ******** FOR ASKING, BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN RIDING A LONG TIME AND I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO GET THE BIKE TO GO WHERE I WANT. I HATE RIDING A SWEET WHEELIE AND HAVE TO LAY IT DOWN BECAUSE YOUR GONNA GO OFF THE ROAD. DOES ANYONE HAVE GOOD ADVICE???

THANKS.

I'm sure you would rather have a response from one of the Boyz, but I'll do my best to answer your question. You need to bring it up high to be able to steer. Once you get it up close to the balance point, you can just lean in the direction you want to go. It's not smart, but it sure is fun to weave you way through traffic on one wheel once and a while. I always wonder what the people in the cars think when I come by them switchin lanes on one. :D

You should always use your turn signal when your changing lanes in a wheelie j/k

TURN

HEY THIS JUST MY ANSWER....JUST USE YOUR BODY LIKE A SAIL ON A SAIL BOAT...HANG OFF THE SIDE OF THE WAY U WANT 2 TURN...THE WIND WILL DO THE REST....ALSO PUT AS MUCH OF YOUR WEIGHT ON THE FOOTPEG OF THE WAY YOU WANT THE BIKE 2 GO....

hey gumby-i don't think it's the wind-cause when i do circle wheelies-i'm only goin about 8mph.-plus my 135lb body aint much of a sail

anyway turn your bars the opposite way you want to turn(for hard turns), and hang off the other side-900's are soooo easy-you should have no problem turning it-also-jab your knee in your tank(the oppisite one from the direction your turning)

i remember it like yesterday.40 years ago when i first started to stear the bike, as stupid as it may sound, in a sit down wheelie(thats all we use to do) i would hang half my *** off the seat. right or left.

the position of the front wheel also has an effect on the bike.
using it as a sail will make an influence on the direction of the bike.

stand ups, same ****, its all about using the body weight.

it does of course make a difference on how high the wheelie is.
if your chasing after it, youll never be able to stear.
the higher up the easier it is to stear.
12 o clock, you can make circles on a side walk.

high times ******* **** mann
