whats up man, its a 2001. I have put about 12,000 miles on it. It's f'n bad ***. Between the carbon fiber wheels, the galfer rotors, 520 chain I knocked off about 25-26 pounds of rotational mass off of it.
I'm not a physics major or anything but I know that .25 pounds turns into like 40 pounds at 100mph. It is so flickable at 140+ it is like a stock gsxr 1k at 50mph

I have been told that for every pound of weight you knock of the bike that rotates.......magneto, stater, crank, wheels, chain, brake rotors is eqaul to like 1.5 hp effective. On top of that it stops and turns like a NFL running back.....f'n laughable.

 

nada man whats up with you, damn dude i wanted a gixxer 1k for a while now but i dont like the look of the newer ones and when i saw yours i loved it thats why i wanted to know what year it was but man its ****in sweet and all the mods that you put on it is off the hook too.....im speechless

what kinda cage is that on your bike, ive seen a a lot like that, is that a better than the other cages that loop arond?
