I see you like to take angled pics too lol, heres some of mine. These were taken with a 6mp camera, sony and the others with a kodak, just had to downsize them..

Re: wannabe
love that orange EK. I know all about having a cool background (danger signs, stop signs,etc....) i am a member on a import sight and i look at the pics that some of the people take and get ideas from that.I would have had a intresting background its just that i cant drive so i shot the pics were the truck was parked
Re: wannabe
plus it's all opinion too... some people like plain shots while other people like different shots, weird angles high, low etc. like the first pic i posted I really like because the car is low in the pic and the background it bigger. I think it's a cool effect. but some people don't like it. photography is just like painting or any art form in the sense that people dig different styles. so just play around with it and take shots that you like.
Re: wannabe
Not too bad, but as others said better camera would help. I took these with a **** cheap walmart camera but I have no upgraded to a Nikon D70...

Some times adding in matching colored backrounds helps. Another cool rule is the 3rds rule. Basically divide the picture in 3 sections like a benz logo. Then put the car or subject in the picture in one third and leave the backround in the other 2 thirds... Just some food for thought...
Here is a simple picture of my CBR I just picked up last week taken with the Nikon D70:

Re: wannabe
Going down the James Dalton Highway in Alaska, made the trip from Texas. Search James Dalton to find out about the road, almost 500 miles one way, dirt, 2 lane, and 2 gas stations. Farthest north that road leads to on the North American Continent. I was looking at pictures later when I got back home and this one came out pretty nice. Its a 6 megapixel cybershot.
