with this bike i'm gonna get a lower insurence rate and im talking to a guy who wants to get me some rods capable of high hp numbers so that i can hang with the sport bikes... guess we'll see whats gonna happen but right now its looking like this bike might get me a nice business deal :YEAH

so it's missing 2nd gear, i am willing to bet it'll be 3 months before you fix that... it always seems like a good deal and an easy project, well news flash, it NEVER is

 

bad second usually = new tranny

 

yup..... thats what im gonna do and it will prolly be longer than 3 months

perfectly ridable right now... the next trans will be hardened, undercut and i'll be getting a kevlar clutch to go with it so yeah it will be a lil while before i can afford that

still worth it considering if i fix the trans i can sell it for a profit




oh and i have some history with this bike... i helped restore it when i was about 13-14

Why put cash on sumthin so old? don't bother with it just get to ride back and forth to work on then save your $ get late 90's liter bike

 

nah... insurence for my car is high enough.. with this bike it will still be higher but not nearly as bad as with a late 90's sport bike

and im prolly going to use it as a project when i go to wyotech next year

 

Ride that with your jean jacket and wife beater you might pick something up on that

as long as i dont put to much stress on the front forks im fine



i plan to eventually swap out the front end but it means a ton of work and i haven't yet found a front end that will clear the front cylinders so i might just build a new frame... who knows
