I dont see too many sites for sale on here so hopefully no one has a problem with me posting this here. I am posting this site for sale, not to advertise it. I have no interest in keeping this site to earn income from it. I was going to keep it but just dont have the time for another project. Thats why I am selling it. A few people have asked me about it so here it is:

I built this site for one of my customers but he ran into financial problems and couldnt pay me the other 50% of his initial deposit, so the site is mine. I just moved it to its own premium domain www.SportbikeSprockets.com. Which is a great domain name that is worth my asking price x4. I cant believe vortex or some other big company hasnt picked this name up.

The website is basically an affiliate ecommerce store that allows you to run your own motorcycle aftermarket parts store business without having to invest huge amounts of money upfront to purchase an inventory of product or dealing with the headaches of handling orders, shipping and billing.

How it works:
Someone comes to your site, searches for chain and sprockets for their model of sportbike and they get a list of products that are currently listed on ebay.



They click on an item that interests them. If they buy it you get a commission on that purchase paid to you from ebay themselves. Even if they end up not buying that item and buy something or anything else on ebay within the next seven days, you still get that commission. Even if they end up buying something else from ebay totally unrelated to motorcycle parts or sprockets. Heck, they could buy a car and you'd still get a commission on that purchase.

Hey guys, I have an update. A few people have called me and asked about exact specifics on the commissions that can be earned from the site the way it is currently setup. I guess I should have been more clear on this.

There are 3 different affiliate programs that payout on this site:

The first is with Commission Junction. You can go to www.cj.com to register for a free account and see all the advertisers you can promote to earn commissions. For this site, I chose www.cyclegear.com which pays out 5% commission when someone buys from them through the link on your site. An average sale for cyclegear.com is $150, so you average commission would be $7.50 per sale.

The second is with clickbank.com. You can also go there to learn about their affiliate programs. The product I chose to place on this site is Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle (http://www.burnthefat.com/). Each sale on that $59.95 product earns you $23.39 per each sale.

The last is eBay Partner Network which the actual ebay store is run on.

The eBay Partner Network actually JUST switched their payout structure. Instead of paying a certain percentage to you from each sale made you get paid per each click from your site. So if someone clicks on an item they like, you get a small commission for that click whether they buy or not. Which could mean more steady income based on smaller commissions spread out gradually...rather than collecting a fixed amount from a sale IF someone buys. Kind of like adsense with google. All in all its got some potential and the commissions would ad up with some traffic to the site.

Let me know if you have any questions! You can also switch out and ad more ads as you wish. You can even get paid avertisers that pay monthly no matter what kind of sales you generate for them...like on a forum. The possibilities are endless.

 

not trying to be rude but kinda seems like a scam i would be down if i thought you could make some real money from it....also can you change the website name cause sportbike sprocket is def. lame and only one sided...let me know hell even pm me and i might consider it send me you info im always down for some extra cash flow even if its not much...

Why does it seem like a scam? Its a fully developed website. It even links back to my business.

Of course the name can be changed but the domain name / name is for search engine optimization purposes (SEO). The website targets a certain batch of keywords that people search for on the internet. The domain name plays a big part in that.

Good luck getting an actual eCommerce store like that for $350. You will need to invest in product, hire phone support, pack and ship orders everyday or hire employees to do it all.
