Re: Tec 9 F/S

That looks like an Intratec AB-10 w a threaded barrel. Not a bad price tho. I just sold mine w 1 30 rd mag for $600. If I had the cash I might pick this up.

Re: Tec 9 F/S

no YOU can't ship it but, you can go to a dealer and have them ship it to another dealer for you.

+1 This is what I did to purchase my newest handgun. I guy from Pittsburgh took it to a dealer near him and they shipped it to a delaer near me in Kingston and I just had to go to there and pay 10 bucks to get it signed over to me. The first dealer included contact info for me so they could call me when the gun got there. Very easy transaction. Easier than I expected.

+1 easiest way is to take it to someone with an FFL license and have them ship it to someone else with an FFL license, basically your local gun shop. There are a lot of ways to ship it, but thats the legit way. The government uses FFL's as a gate keeper, transactions go through them so there is a paper trail of person X selling PersonY gun A. Again a pointless system that only targets people who are willing to 1 be educated enough to know how to manuver the system correctly, and 2 who are legit enough to be willing to jump through federal loop holes.

Re: Tec 9 F/S

This is the part I don't understand about the transaction I discussed above:

I thought there was a waiting period on handguns and yet I was able to pick up that gun the same day it got to the dealer and took it home within minutes of arriving at the dealer. I did everything the legal, legit way too. Anybody know anything on this? Is it different when you purchase a gun this way?

By the way, this gun is really cool. Don't need any more weapons at the moment though.

PA use's "instacheck" there is no waiting peroird. the PA ffl dealer would be transfering it to you the same way he would transfer you anyother gun. wheather it be at his shop, ordered by him and delivered to his shop, or ordered by you and delivered to his shop. it will work the same way your other transfer worked. the gun will be done legit between dealer to dealer, so there is no risk involved of you reciving a stolen or unregistered gun (b/c the dealers would pick up on that before its given to you and transfered into your name).
