Im selling my 98 explorer to buy a pick up. My mother is the original owner of it. I bought it off her 3 years ago. I was a Ford technician for 4 years but now have moved to diesels. This truck has got a complete overhaul within the last year. I'll list everything that is new and has been done.



There is about ~8k miles on the rebuilt engine.

Thermostat housing replaced with a 2003 explorer sport trac piece - Upgrade
New thermostat
New temp sensors
All new o2 sensors
New aftermarket catalyic convertors
New aftermarket exhaust

Transmission was rebuilt 3 months ago by the transmission technician at my previous job at a LI Ford dealer.

New shocks all around
New wheel bearings in front
Tires replaced last spring
Radiator was replaced in the spring of 08

Rear end was replaced because the old one had some play. The new one came out of a 2000 explorer. I installed new calipers and rotors on it at the same time.

Interior:
Detailed on a daily basis
Stain on small part of rear seat. Cannot be removed.
Center console leather replaced
All lights changed in the dash
Comes with privacy piece for the trunk.


Cons:
AC hose needs to be replaced. So the AC is not working
Radio works perfect but the display does come on. Its a common problem so i never bothered to replace it.
