testing waters 93 eagle talon tsi awd 76k original

im thinking about selling my car but at this point im seeing if it would be worth selling.

its a 93 tsi awd with 76,800 original with black leather interior, eprom ecu, and basically stock except for a full ATR exhaust, and big 16g. the car is in great condition both mechanically and cosmetically except for 1 very tiny surface rust spot on the top of the driver door above the window and small dent between the driver fender and door where it rubbed, not visable unless your next to it or know its there.

i have a dejon intake with 2g mass and 1g pigtail for it that i never installed.

sorry about the pics the car is dirty as you can see and the pics are off my phone, my daughter broke my digi cam so they might not be the greatest. trust me though you have to see the car in person.

shoot me a serious offer if your interested. would like 4500

decent car..you got a bc on it too..how much boost are you running on that?

$4500 for a stock AWD is going to be a little hard to get. Maybe if it was an early 92 with low miles and a 6/4 bolt setup.

Re: testing waters 93 eagle talon tsi awd 76k original

i havent messed with the boost since its running perfect(no fuel cut) i was told by the previous owner its set at 12psi if i remember correctly. it is a 6/4 combo. it might seem like a lot to someone looking for a car thats already been messed and even then its not outrageous, but not to much at all for someone who is lookin for basically a blank canvas to work with, with less than 80k and 1 spec of surface rust. i know it might take some time to sell and thats fine im in no hurry, i just figured i would put it out on the market so to speak to see what happens cuz i got a lot of toys lol

Is there no boost gauge? That is a big "no-no" with running a boost controller.

You might be able to pull that, but its going to have to sit for a long time to do so. The care will not have a 6/4 combo though. It will have a 7 bolt motor(92-94 7 bolt).

I dont think it has a bc it's just running off of wastegate. $4500 is alot for a 93 but it could have the 6/4 combo if it's build date is actually in 92. I love my 91 but they can be a pain in the *** sometimes. Gotta love 5K launches. :YEAH

The build date would have to be jan-apr of 1992. Anything after that has a 7 bolt. With the low millage I would see where he could get 3500-4000(tops) but he would have to wait a while to sell it.

You can see the red BC in the pic though.

I have had many of them and even with a built up motor it is hard to get your money back out of it. I say $3,000 is about what you will get out of it kinda sucks but now days it is the truth

Re: testing waters 93 eagle talon tsi awd 76k original

it has a boost gauge, but i hardly drive the car ive put maybe 1,000 miles since i got it and i have yet to really drive it hard and see where the boost tops at. plust the guy i got it from mounted it in a retarded spot(on the side of the center console next to where your right leg would be) so its kinda hard to pay attention to it. as for the engine, it is a 6 bolt, the motor was swapped out at 70k for a 80k 6 bolt

Who are you kidding you know you have driven it hard a few times to see what its got. I have a boosted car myself, and the urge to get on it is uncontrollable .

I've barely been able to drive with my injuries from when i spilled(4 broken ribs on my back side, and a broken clavical) not to easy to drive like that let alone push it hard. that's why i haven't put miles on it
