6 hours and counting....
I'll be in court in a few hours; pre-trial for 2 Reckless Driving Citations I recieved earlier this year. Last time I spoke with my attourney, she told me the state was willing to offer me: a fine of $500, plus $87.50 in court fees, 6 months of Probation through the Salvation Army(which is like $45 a month), the 8 points for the infractions(which when added might suspend me for 30 days), take the 12 hour Advanced Driving School(for the 3rd time).
I was worried all this time that it was going to cost around $2000 in fines, and either suspend my driver's license or revoke my motorcycle endorsement for a long time. I guess I worry too much, cause that's not that bad of a deal.
My attourney said I had until court to decide. I'm going to look around the courtroom in the morning to see if the 2 officers show up. This case has already been postponed twice. Maybe it will be dropped if they don't show. That would be a miracle!
