Been awhile since i've been on the forum. I'm posting this to see the kind of feedback i get. If people are seriously interested, then i'll post Pics of everything. The reason i'm selling? i got out of college and into a good job, so 1. my time is limited for videography and 2. no need for the extra cash doing things on the side. This camera filmed half of theXperience: Mexico dvd with Scott Harmon. other than that, i helped film a few videos for a few stunt teams, such as Brando and Patrick Stephens, etc. and i did about 3 weddings, that's all. everything's in mint condition, not a scratch on the camera, and functions great.

the entire package includes:

• Canon GL2 Camcorder ($2,200 when i got it)
• MA-300 XLR Audio Adapter (for Mic's and Wireless Mic's)
• 1 Sony U.H.F. wireless mic + lavalier (almost $400 for this thing, really nice)
• Glidecam Pro camera stabilizer (about $300 when i got it)
• Heavy duty metal camera case w/ lock & key
• Tripod
• Telephoto lens
• Lens filters
• Charger
• 8 hour battery + 2 hour battery
• Headphones (to hear the wireless mic audio)
• FireWire cable
• A/V cables (to hook up to TV)
• 256MB Memory card for photo extraction on camera

This is everything. i'm selling it all as a package deal, if you don't want something, i won't ship it to you, but the price stays the same. oh and you gotta pick up shipping, or we can work something out.

This camera has been cleaned one time, not because it had to, just for maintenance purposes. probably about time for it to go through it again. I know there's lots of other REALLY awesome camera's out there, and lots of you are going to HD Cams. Let me know (gently, please) if my price is too high, or if it's about right for everything. i've made some cash from this, and it has served me well. i figured there might be of use to it for an upcoming stunt team, or a good additional camera for videos/dvds and what not.

but since you are selling you stuff...really no chance you would part it out, so to speak?...i could really use the xlr adapter, stabilizer, and the filters (depending on what kind/type of filters they are...

 

Thanks for the compliments man, always appreciated. i'd love to help out, but unfortunately it's to sell as a package. i don't want to piece it out cuz i don't want items left over that could have had a home. hell i'm willing to work out a deal, i kinda just want it out of my closet. lol, $2,000 is just asking price. reasonable offers are always accepted. ;-)

The XLR adapter is actually pretty cheap. i twas $150 when i got it, i think they go for under $100 now.

 

i just priced um again and still $150.00 from B&H...i might have to make you an offer on the whole package then...i like my GL alot and would not mind having another one as a back up second cam...

k, i got this stuff on craigslist for $1,500 now. i'll let it go for that + shipping. the more it sits here, the more i want it gone, lol....

Did you sell it? I have a GL1 and would like to add either a GL2 or XL1s to what I have.
