I just put my bike back together... but you're on.. i'm going to take a picture of the fuel pump AND i'll even video record the little pump working... 
the diagram is what ALL Dealers use to get the parts they need to fix bikes dude...
If i called Ron Ayers or you can call them.. ask for a Fuel pump for a 99 F4 that is the part number they're going to give you and they're going to tell you 91.65 please thank you!
Carb doesn't have nothing to do with the fuel pump... the fuel still needs to get pushed into the engine.. its def not gravity fed .. if it was then i wouldn't be asking for fuel pump LoL :D

This is Freaking Hilarious!!!! lol....The bad thing about it is that there is a thread a couple of days ago where a guy was wanting a fuel pump for a f4 and bought one... Moto stick by your guns!!! You are right! That gravity fed stuff is right as long as you are at idle or maybe low rpms...The pump is needed to keep the bowls full at hard acceleration!!! I hope the other guys are just messing with you!!!

Okay...Lets assume Im wrong??? AND I LOVE TO GAMBLE!!! I have access to an f4...And since the "Fuel Pump" That doesnt exist on your bike...I will take that diagram that moto posted...I remove the part that you dont have or need and we race a quarter mile??? If you are anywhere within a few bikes of me in just a simple 1320 feet...You WIN!!! LMK....Again...I have a gambling problem!!! But this is a sure one...Right??? Since Im wrong this should be a NO BRAINER!!!

That is true...But are you saying that you are smarter than the Japanese Engineers that developed the bike??? Of Course they always engineer a bike to put extra parts on a bike that are not needed??? UH??? Okay...Happens all the time??? Right!!! Freaking Hilarious!!!
