Re: Oil pickup for a 2002 gsxr 600

i would much rather buy a 90 dollar oil pick up than a 800 dollar motor even if i dont understand the concept of a pickup and think there may be a small chance it will save my motor

when you get a chance look upper hydraulic cavitation. with the pickup so close to the pan you are causing a negative psi area. truth is the same people who go through the trouble of putting a stuntex pickup in there gxr are so scared of blowing thier motors are just less likely to whoop on thier bikes

Re: Oil pickup for a 2002 gsxr 600

well there is where you wrong the pickup is the same distance from the pan just when the bike is in a wheelie its on the bottow (towards the swing arm) side of the pan instead of the same distance off the pan but on the top....i have a pickup and i "whoop" the **** out of my bike

Re: Oil pickup for a 2002 gsxr 600

if you dont agree with me thats fine , dont say im wrong cause the Stuntex Pick Up inlet is closer to the side of the pan then the factory pick up. the stuntex pick up is unnecessary . gsxr motors dont blow cause they dont have a stuntex pickup installed
