i bought the 929 guard w\bolts on ebay for a grand total of $6.00 and i have a shitload of 6mm helicoils, so i just figure i'll helicoil it. fyi- if your using the 929 guard, get a right hand one so the sweep goes towards the back

trying to get one of these on my bike.
looks like it would work great as its not sharp metal or anything. even though it says for yamaha I couldnt see a problem mounting it to my f4i or any bike for that matter I mean whats the big deal?
