LOL... the studs in his shoes are priceless!

Sweet, I'll have to head out that way sometime to meet up this winter. Days like today are gonna make for good ice.

Re: 1" Kold Kutter Screws

Okay, so I found some "older" Kold Kutters off Ebay, I'm gonna make them work...but are 1k gonna be enough for the rear tire alone? They'r 5/8 and I can't see them being too short...but it would be nice to know if I'm setting myself up to fail. I have a bunch of 3/8 to put in the front left over from last year.

Sound like I'm set for screws?

Re: 1" Kold Kutter Screws

I don't really member how many screws we used up doin a rear last year i think it was roughly 1200 but not really sure

You did read up on doin up a tire right? We found out the hard way last winter that there is a wrong way to do this lol i think it took us 3 tires to get one that would hook up

Re: 1" Kold Kutter Screws

You talkin about screwing them in at an angle? What I planned to do was make un even rows and screw them in at...from the LH side lookin as the side of the screw...ya with me, the screw in the rear most will be screwed in so that the head is facing the sky by about 20deg. I don't know how to explain this...

Is this what your refurring to? Which is correct..."A" or "B"?

Your going to need atleast 1000 in each tire, and 5/8 should be mint, they might even be to long and go right through the tire but slime will fix that

Re: 1" Kold Kutter Screws

you have to angle them, like say the screw driver hole is vertical just turn it a bit so its facing diagonal. Thats what I did and it working good, this was on a dirtbike but same concept

Yeah, I can get that...my question is if you just shoot them straight in or if they are screwed in at an angle...
