Tech

The CBR 600RR , Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.
omr subcages are available for all makes and models but only the ones listed above are available for shipping

Those are theoretical top speeds. 99% of the time a bike is limited by wind resistance, not gearing.

It may be geared to go faster. That doesn't mean it will.

the speedo stopped at 186 on my gsxr 1000 but the tach kept going up , im sure the speedo was off but the bike itself wasnt actually limmited at top speed just the speedo was .....it had a tre though so i dont know if that made a difference

true but the point i was trying to make was i dont think they actually limited the bike i think the speedo just stopped reading after 186 but im not sure if that is even accurate because i had a tre and i dont know if thats why the bike kept accelerating after the speedo hit 186

i was not impressed with the power or speed of an RR(pre2007)... Id bet that the f4i has higher top speed... the RR take it on the track tho

i read that bike company's have to govern the bike to 186... not sure if they just govern the speedo or if they govern the whole bike

Form what I've read, it was a gentleman's agreement that they would not build a bike that went over 300 km/h. That should mean the bike not just the speedometer. I imagine power is cut from the motor. The TRE may overcome that.

when super streetbike did that "top speed challenge" last year they had to do something to that gixxer ECU so it would go over 186... so who knows... could also be different for each bike

Dre that street ride looked sweet besides the rain... i remember i was sitting at griffin and 95 near Bass Pro im sitting at the light... all of a sudden i see a front wheel from the overpass of 95 and a helmet sticking up over the railing... and i cut off 3 lanes of traffic to follow on 95 lol
