I dont see why you NEED Si's cage. Any cage with a remotely similar inside diameter for the pipe would work....
We bought a few sets of SI's sliders, adn then started making our own. We were breaking theirs, and at 30 or 40$ a set for the plastic ones, its was alot of money. We started buying the material ourselves and a set costs like 4$ to make, and 30mins.
