Arrow first bike spendin 1-2 grand

im looking for a good first bike.... something not too bulky and heavy... a little bit of power and something that might last untill i want to upgrade. i dont care if its all scratched up just dont want a bike that people laugh and point at ... im located in baltimore city maryland... im also up for some advice on what kind of bike to get.... i had an R6 in mind if i was goin ot get a brand new bike.. obv gonna pay more than 2000 but i dont really have experience on motorcycles so i thought it would be a good idea to get comfortable on something a little less extreme... but im down for whatev'

anybody?

I got a bike with no tile for sale but you dont want some thing like that. 600s are good bikes, anything 95 n up dont look gay and some are pretty snapy. go for a yzf 600 yamaha or cbr 600. or a newer 500 suzuki there all pretty light can findem cheap n look decent

Re: first bike spendin 1-2 grand

for 2g's u r lucky if u find something titled and running, but it aint gunna be pretty. If ur just getting started and want to commute not just lot ride then ur gunna end up on a katana, ninja 250 or gsf. and yes we will all laugh. Katanas r easy to come by but keep n mind that the previous owners prolly didnt kno what they were doing and likely trashed the bike. Same goes for just about any bike for beginner bike for 2gs. They may look nice at first but after a while the gremlins start to show up. Bent shift forks, burned up clutches, strange engine noises and so on. If ur lucky or come up w alil more bread u could get on an FZR, or SV650 or mayb find a decent F2 or F3. Ya never kno. And this concludes my squidservice for the week. That is all

F2,3,or 4 is your best bet. It will be clapped out, but rideable.
