I have a 2005 CBR 1000rr for sale. It has approx 6K miles. The bike is being sold as a stunt bike, track bike or for parts. Bike is not stolen. Runs 100%. No leaks, no quirks. Located in MD. will deliver within MD, DC, VA. Interested in trading for a bike that I can register in MD. or Cash. I am looking for $4500 OBO. PM your offers, or shoot me an email at blu360@gmail.com. Thanks! BTW... Lower fairings are included. (I dont have fairing bolts)

The guy I bought it from had a lien on it. I didnt care too much cause it was going to be a track bike, but circumstances have changed, and I need a vehicle that I can put on the road legally. The bike will come with a bill of sale only.

Thanks Man.. I put alot of work into her.. Just installed the frame sliders and blinkers today, and the lowers are now on. I will take an updated pic, and post. As for the Lien, It is being taken care of on Monday so the title will be free and clear. Check back with me Monday for an update. Thanks!!

Something I learned...vehicles with leans are considered and reported stolen by the bank with the title once they realize the original lender stopped paying. I don't know if there's a different senario here but thought i would let you and everyone else know.

Make me an offer! I would also be interested in a trade, if you have some 1000rr plastic, we can swap. There are a few blemishes... check out the pics... Other than that, its a mirror finish all over....

Re: 2005 CBR 1000rr Repsol 6K Miles - No Title -

Thanks Sambo!! Read about 2 messages up I am getting the lien release on Monday. I contacted the seller, and he is taking care of it for me. So on Monday, she will be ready to go... Funny thing you bring that up about the banks, because that is exactly what I told him, basically told him that I was in possession of stolen property because he sold me a bike that didnt belong to him. Thanks, and good lookin out!!!

DAMN!!! That sucks!! Thats why I put those frame sliders on. Not sure if they are going to work though. I have never used them on any of my bikes. Send me a pic of the damage, and how the looked on your bike.

Keep me posted. Do you still have the original orange rear wheel?

No, I dont have the rear orange wheel. It sort of became a matter of preference for me, to have different color wheels. My very first bike back in 1992 was a FZR600. And it was yellow bike, with a black rear wheel, and yellow front wheel. Every bike since, when the oppurtunity came up, I was swap out the wheel. I will keep you posted.

What exactly "Smells Fishy" ... Did you read the whole post. It is what I said it is... I have a title, but there is a lien on it, but thanks to the ignorant comments that I have received last week, and such as this, I have decided to pursue a clear title. so all the people who assumed that this was shady, fishy, or a stolen bike, can go F$%^ themselves. To the guy that passed up the bike for $1500 wouldnt know a good deal if it bit him in the ***. You could of had a clean 1000rr with 6K original miles and a clear title with no Salvage history for $1500.00.
