well if he does a notarized bill of sale and contract stating he is obligated to pay the remaining portion of the bike and then send the title when its paid in full i don't really see a problem.

lets say for the sake of arguement that all happens and he still doesn't pay it off...then what?
not tryin to say any of this would happen, but i'm a realist as well as a sceptic...even with a legal contract, you might see your money sometime in the year 2015 or not at all...again just sayin.
be honest, doesn't this smell just a little fishy?

nice try, but if its not paid off the title cannot be released in anybody elses name, hence it will still be your bike. so, in theory, you could take the money from someone and then claim the bike stolen and whoever buys it is out 3,500.
