01' R1 fs/ft....wanting a 636 or other 600's
still trying to trade or sell my R1....just trying to see what offers i can get....i really want a 05' 636 or a 600rr, or anything under 1000cc...
i dont have the front or side fairings or the gas cap.... shift fork rod needs replace and it needs a main switch... its hooked up to a toggle switch.....carbs need tuned too, mid range boggs....
existing title...15,xxx miles
the kelly blue book list $5800 in excellent condition, i attached a link....
it will be under $1000 to finish the bike and make it worth 5800.....
i'm not lookin to get that much..... wanting around 4500 obo

i would severely reevaluate your price and quit spamming for trades. this thing is worth 3500 tops (if you find a moron)... no gas cap, no fairings, 01 r1!? isnt even fuel injected. why not sell all the of the bikes you have listed (except the maybe 05 636) and you might be able to make these people a reasonable offer.

i am also a member of the r1 forum.... and they have all helped me with the bike, and they said to ask for 4500 (as it sits now) to leave room for offers.... and these guys are r1 freaks..... i can post a link if i need to
plus if someone has something to trade thats worth a lil more i can round up cash to go with it.....i prolly should have mentioned that too.... i need something smaller than a 1000cc bike

never ask enthusiasts how much a bike is worth. they will jack up the price. that **** is worth 3000 MAX. if you find a dummy with a hole burning in his pocket. im sick and tired of seeing you spam every ******* bike for sale thread with this ****.
i know what you're thinking... it's a R1! 1000cc's!! i bet i can find some dummy to want it.
i bet 2nd gear doesnt even work on it.
just because a bike is worth 5800 according to kbb (which no one ever pays attention to) doesnt mean that it's worth 4500 because it only needs 1000 in parts. guess what those parts take, labor and time to put back together. and even then it WILL NOT be as nice as a non-crashed/fucked up bike. once a bike is crashed/smashed/laid down might as well never expect it to be the same as it was new. you could make it close but not the same. and yes, i have rebuilt MANY bikes.

the bike was not crashed or laid down.... it was a repo, then the guy who bought it sold a few parts off it, and i replaced everything except whats listed..... price is a little high to leave room for negotiating

never wrecked? what's this rash on the pipe, one of the few indications of crash damage i can make out from your blurry pics, let alone the rusty bolts i see, sweet it was left out side that is always awesome for bikes, lol and the shift forks are messed up. how long have you been into bikes? do you know anything about them?

i see bikes way worse then then this r1 sell for just under what i am asking..
man this bike has no damage except where the main switch was dugg out, and a dent where someone took off the gas cap, and a only a few scratches.......
and i have been around bikes for 10 years now, i worked at dealerships as a mechanic...... i have worked on hundreds of bike....
now stop talkin **** and acting like you know what your talkin about......cuz you are starting to sound like a ****** retard.....

, why not just replace the shift fork and tune up the carbs yourself?? could be done in one day. oh wait, you're talkin **** and probably just worked at a jiffy lube next to a motorcycle shop.

i havn't had the time to work on it, thats why i havn't done it...... i work 12 hours a day with only 1 day off every 2 weeks, any time i have to put into bikes, i want to spend it rideing them not, fixing them.....sure i could do it, i just plain dont ******* want to......

4500 is a little high, i would say 38 or so is a fair price. i picked my 00 up for 4800 and in perfect condition. and justin75south definatly has to stop talkin so much ****, have fun with that f4i.....
