Well guys, I just screwed up a HID install and I'm just pissed. My loss is your gain. I was trying to install them and I touched a damn wire and the HID bulb blew. Then when I sat the gas tank to the side I shorted it on the frame and melted the wire.

The bike runs absolutely perfect. the ONLY things it will need are the headlight socket adapters and a new wire run from the fuel pump to the connector (8 inches)

The following is the ad I had posted a few months back. Nothing has changed except I have put a new chain on the bike.

I am selling my 2001 F4i. Its mostly stock with the addition of a Power Commander, Two Brothers slip on, undertail, and flush mounts. Has brand new Continental tires, and oil was changed about 500 miles ago.
The previous owner dropped it at low speed in a parking lot, and scratched the right side fairing and damaged the throttle tube. Cosmetic damage only, runs PERFECT. I have included a video as well as pictures to show everything in detail.
The video is of the first startup of the day.

How many miles? were you gonna put the bulbs in projectors or just slip them in the reflectors? but that bike is nicer than mine when I bought it for 3800. So you should be able to sell this quickly.

 

Approx. 24k miles. And I hope it sells quickly, it ticks me off just to look at it. ha

Thats what the guy said, but yeah, it probably was a low speed drop. But what difference does it make? A scratched fairing and damaged tube is all that resulted. I've ridden it for 5k trouble free miles.
