1999 Suzuki gsxr 600/750 swap
1999 Suzuki GSXR 600 to 750 swap project or ride it with a little bit of work.
I will be as honest and not blame the last owner but the bike and I were in a lowside awhile back. To ride it legally on the street you would need to get a new front cowl and the bracket so the headlight could be mounted. I have LP CF mirrors that are scratched, on the finish, but glass is fine and they work just fine. Bike has new fairings on it, the tail was just painted by cycle finish with a bit more metallic then stock, though it has rash on the left side Cycle Finish or any shop can repair it and make it look new. Tank is dented, but does not leak or cause problems with operation. Bike does leak oil and was sealed up by a shop, however it leaks about 1/4 of a quart every 3000 miles. Frame is fine, forks are fine, mainly cosmetic.
28,977 Miles. Used as a commuter. Never tracked or stunted. Redline oil and oem filter used every 3000 miles. New Shogun frame sliders. New Shogun swingarm spools. Shogun bar ends. Diablo Front tire (50% of life left). New Diablo Corsa rear tire (only 100 miles on it). Yoshimura RS-3 Exhaust. CF Triple cover. LP front blinkers. APE manual cam chain tensioner. Galfer SS braided front brake lines. Galfer ceramic front pads with tons of life. Custom painted tail. Undertail. Factory pro jet kit. K&N air filter.
Now I did not worry about the motor issue as I was going to drop in a gsxr750 motor as it is a direct bolt on and does not need modifications to the frame. I have just about everything.
Extra parts:
Complete 750 motor (needs a head gasket and a clutch and that's it). Homegrown 750 engine stand. Black 750 swingarm with all seals installed. Radiator w/ fan and cooling hoses. Smog equipment. Complete carburator setup. Computer. New key, gas tank lock, tail lock, and ignition. All hardware for the swap. Ignition coils w/ coil packs. Spare left and right fairings (purchased for future track day. Ugly, but work). Headlight assembly w/ bulbs. 750 inverted forks including triples (ignition already installed). spare tail (Left, right, and center section). Suzuki OEM service manual . Brand new undertail not open, still in packaging. solo seat cowl. Passenger seat. And a ton of misc parts that are new in packaging. All are oem parts like cotterpins and gaskets, etc.
