There's a FaceBook thing, thought was a bit different and might come in handy at some point, it's basically a feed/notification profile of (UK) stolen vehicles, so people can keep their eyes open and let the owner know if any cars/bikes are spotted out and about, police do little to help and there's no disadvantage to this:
