^what he said. I had some conti mud tracs on my s10 blazer that were pretty quiet and wore pretty well. I like BFG AT's the best and run them on my current truck.

you might be referring to my post on BS but if not, yeah. My buddy had some that were very very wore out on his truck, (so they were probably quieter) and were real loud, especially compared to my bfg all terrains.

the noise comes from all the air and **** under the tread. think about wide and spaced out it is on those tires. they almost look like sand paddle tires! haha.. lots of room for air flowin underthem when your drivin down the road = noise.

youll love them though for the looks! screw the noise! ur trucks gona be sick when its done.

why get mudders if you are just driving on the road?

just get all terrains ... i have pro comp all terrain 35" and go off roading and to the sand dunes quite often - i have never needed a mud tire yet

for the looks. an 8" lifted truck w/ all terrain tires..just doenst look as good w/ some big *** mud terrain tires


i pu ta lot of miles on back and forthetween motocross tracks and stuff, so i got 35" bfg all terrains on mine.. i couldnt afford to do the mud terrain, they dont last half as long.
